M&MMCH Updates - Treasurer & EOY event

Updated: Mar 19

Treasurer

UPDATE: 13/3/2025 We have a new Treasurer!! Kellie Spry has joined the team. We are still looking for a new Treasurer! Our current Treasurer will be moving to the Perth Hills in late November. You don’t need to be a qualified bookkeeper or accountant to perform the role (though preferred) and a full briefing and hand-over will be provided. If you think you might be interested in the Treasurer position, Andrew, our current Treasurer, is happy to have a chat about what is involved. treasurer@mmmcommunityhouse.org

End of year event

UPDATE: 13/382025 Our Community Celebration is happening Saturday 5 April 12:00-3:00. We had hoped to celebrate the progress on the gardens and thank all our sponsors and volunteers at an end of year event (Save the Date - 30th November) but we have run out of puff, and we are moving it to a new year celebration in February/March - we will release the date soon!

In the meantime...

Come down and visit the garden any time - it is looking amazing with the spring growth! The Permies are always here on a Friday morning if you would like to join the group or just to find out what they are up to. The volunteer gardening program has also commenced on Monday mornings - drop by and speak with Mel if you are interested. Lastly, you will find library is open most Fridays - come and say hello and find out about our projects and programs.

Thank you to our sponsors!

At Macedon & Mount Macedon Community House, we take immense pride in fostering an atmosphere of inclusion, diversity, and belonging. We celebrate the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences that each individual brings to our community. Every person is valued and respected here, creating a space where all are welcome to participate, learn, and connect. Together, we weave the rich tapestry of our community, united by the spirit of understanding and collaboration.
We acknowledge and thank the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri, on which we meet, walk, work and live. We acknowledge the Elders past, present and emerging and the care they have given to this country.
We also acknowledge local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander residents of Macedon Ranges for their ongoing contribution to the diverse culture of our community.
