About the Event

Join one of our weekly volunteer gardening crews. Connect with your community, share skills & knowledge and help us create a thriving and abundant garden. During the school term we have weekly sessions every Monday & Friday morning and everyone is welcome to join in.

On Fridays, we take care of the permaculture food forest which is overflowing with fruits, vegetables, herbs and beneficial plants that support the bees, insects, soil food web and ecosystem health. We also tend to the fruit trees, berries & many other edible plants across the property. This year on Fridays we are also putting together a group of Indigenous garden enthusiasts to care for and expand the Indigenous garden.

Permies @ The House Morning Tea

The 9.30AM gardening session on Fridays is followed by a shared morning tea, time for a chat and some knowledge & skill sharing activities. You can follow the Permies…

We acknowledge and thank the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wurundjeri, on which we meet, walk, work and live. We acknowledge the Elders past, present and emerging and the care they have given to this country.
We also acknowledge local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander residents of Macedon Ranges for their ongoing contribution to the diverse culture of our community.
